I’d like to tell you my story..
My name is Lacey Fachin and Legacy Christian Academy played a formative role in the person I am today. Not only did Legacy provide a strong academic foundation, but it also prepared me with the character, leadership skills, and faith-centered worldview that continue to guide me in life outside of the classroom. Legacy has prepped me not only for college, but for life.

Academically, Legacy pushed me to think critically, take ownership of my learning, and manage my time efficiently. My courses encouraged me to develop effective study habits and perseverance, especially when balancing leadership roles and extracurricular commitments. Legacy taught me to work diligently, ask for help when needed, and stay focused on my goals.
If I had to choose one, the most impactful thing that Legacy has prepared me for would be the leadership opportunities. Serving in roles such as Associated Student Body Council President, National Honor Society President, and Tozer House Leader allowed me to grow in confidence and humility. Legacy trusted me to lead well and to serve selflessly. These experiences prepared me to collaborate with others on various projects, whether in the classroom or in the workplace, and to step forward when leadership is needed.

Faith integration was at the core of my Legacy experience. Legacy taught me that faith does not stay within the walls of the Theology classroom, but branches out into every aspect of our lives. Through service opportunities, prayer, and a Christ-Centered community, I rely on the Lord in times of trial and approach success and failure with humility and gratitude.

Finally, Legacy has instilled in me a heart of service. Whether through school outreach or community involvement, Legacy emphasises the giving of one's gifts to serve others. I am filled with immense gratitude as I reflect on all the love and support that Legacy has poured into
my peers and I during my high school years. I will be forever thankful for how Legacy prepared me to face the future with resilience, purpose, and a conviction to serve others.
