Season Details & Travel

Please be aware that our game schedule will include extensive travel. So far, we have confirmed matches with Maricopa and Cuyama, and are finalizing a match with a Christian school in San Diego. There will also be multiple tournaments throughout the season.

Some tournament costs will be covered by our available funds; others may require parental support or sponsorship for team entry fees based on individual desire for individual tournaments.

We are actively working to build a fuller competition schedule and are reaching out to every school in the area with a sand volleyball program. Our goal is to integrate into their regular league schedule. We're also excited about new schools joining our league next year that already have established sand teams.

We are thrilled about this new opportunity and truly grateful for the Legacy community’s support as we get it off the ground.

Team Formation & Tryouts

We will be forming five teams of two players each. Team placement will be based on tryouts, which will be scheduled soon. Players who are not selected for the initial five teams will be placed on sub teams and will have opportunities to be rotated or subbed in throughout the season.

Practice Schedule: We are planning preseason practices on the following days: 

NOTE: Preseason for sand volleyball will not start until fall season volleyball playoffs are completed. 

• Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:00am to 9:00am (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

• Once the sand volleyball season begins in January, we’ll also add an optional Saturday practice from 7-9am along with the Mondays and Wednesdays practices 7-9am

Since each team only consists of two players, it’s crucial that teammates coordinate their schedules. If you're unable to attend a scheduled practice, we encourage you to practice independently with your partner. We will provide a list of local sand courts around town for your convenience.
