The Selvey Family

When our family came to Legacy Christian Academy, we were looking for a school that would support our kids academically and spiritually. What we found was so much more than that- we didn't fully know the blessing that was awaiting us!

From the very moment we came to Legacy, we felt welcomed, seen, and known. The entire Legacy family genuinely cares about our kids and all the kids, and it shows each and every day by the way they invest in them! Janie and Noah aren’t just a number here—they’re known, encouraged, and believed in.

Legacy doesn’t just educate our kids—it helps shape who they’re becoming. One of the things we appreciate most is how the school partners with families. The values we’re teaching at home are the same values our kids are learning at school.

It’s not just a place where our kids go to school. It’s a place that pours into their character. We’ve watched our kids grow in confidence and boldness, build real-life friendships, and develop a deeper understanding of their faith.

Janie and Noah are surrounded by people who care about their hearts as much as their grades.

Legacy is helping build a foundation in our kids that will last far beyond the classroom. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of this community. Legacy has shaped our children in ways we’ll always be thankful for, and we’re excited to see how the foundation being built here continues to guide their future. Janie, a senior this year, will be attending Oral Roberts University to major in Theology & Biblical Literature with an emphasis on Christian Apologetics! Legacy has a part in her amazing future, and we are forever grateful.

For our family, Legacy isn’t just a school—it’s been a gift.
