Legacy Christian Academy recognizes the need for community outreach during this time as students are home completing schooling. Here are some resources our Legacy teachers & staff have created for our Legacy & Bakersfield communities to utilize in their home study. This is an ongoing project we hope will bring encouragement and inspiration as our community adjusts under current circumstances.

1. Online art lessons with Mrs. Purdy, Legacy Christian Academy’s art teacher. Step by step tutorials, fun & interactive projects, color theory & more.

2. Enjoy a time of thoughtful music learning with Legacy Christian Academy's music teacher Mrs. Harper. 

3. Adventure Leadership provides training and opportunities for students to learn and apply life skills; develop leadership abilities; and to understand God’s creation.

4. Simple ingredients, recipes, & tutorials with Mrs. Brown so students can utilize their culinary skills in the kitchen at home.

5. Rigid schedules put restraints on adults and children alike. However, a well thought out routine, based on specific needs of children, allows everyone to know what the overall goal is and to agree there are different ways to get there. Join Thomas as he gives some practical advice on how to prepare satellite learning the night before to ending the day with a night time reflection.
